Day 2 - Sandakphu to Molley to Sandakphu - 20 Miles 2...panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga.  The sunrise views were spectacular.

Today we run 10 miles out and back from Sandakphu to Molley and back.  The road is a mix of cobblestone and trail.  I'm surprised that when the sun is out, the temperature is quite comfortable and in the 60s.  As soon as the sun goes down, though, its down to the 30s.  I ran all 5 days in a sleeveless t-shirt and shorts.  Well, except marathon day I did have on the longsleeve shirt for a bit in the beginning.

Sunrise with Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu in the distance. If you look closely, you can see the trail on the mountains where we will run today.

Looks like clouds starting to gather and hide Kanchenjunga.

The trail on the ridge is where we run, with Everest in the background.

... from Italy, holding out his Italian flag!

Me and Dr. Jain with the big mountains in the distance.

More spectators and crowd support.
